I implemented a `--yes` option as part of adding `cylc vr` support to `cylc tui` in this PR - [tui: add vr by oliver-sanders · Pull Request #5381 · cylc/cylc-flow · GitHub](https://github.com/cylc/cylc-flow/pull/5381)

Currently expected to arrive in Cylc 8.2.0
