Is it possible to create an archive of the old Google Groups or a data migration into an “Archive” or “Pre May 2019” category or something? I feel like there’s a lot of good stuff (and history) in there that should be retained and be searchable. A link to the old site would be a good start but who knows how long Google will leave Groups alive…

I think it’s possible - see [https://meta.discourse.org/t/an-importer-for-google-groups/45624](https://meta.discourse.org/t/an-importer-for-google-groups/45624). However, I’d have thought that we’re OK relying on the old site ([https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/cylc](https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/cylc)) for the moment. I’m not aware of any plans for it to disappear.
