Good afternoon everyone!

Up to now I have been using the Tui (and I am very happy with it), but since our users are more used to ecFlow, I am starting also to get familiar with the GUI to help them transitioning to cylc.

Quite often I use the `cylc vr suit_id` command (Validate, reinstall, and reload or restart a workflow), while implementing/debugging a suite. Now, in the GUI I find the reload command, but not the reinstall. Checking the doc:

> **[Edit The Workflow Configuration - Interventions — Cylc 8.6.3 documentation](https://cylc.github.io/cylc-doc/stable/html/user-guide/interventions/index.html#edit-the-workflow-configuration)**

It shows examples just for the Tui and the CLI. Am I understainding correctely: the reinstall + reload feature is not available in the GUI? What would be the recommended way of proceeding then? Using the command line? Is this going to be implemented sometimes soon?

(I am using cylc 8.6.3)

Thanks a lot in advance for your help!
Stella

Adding support for the `cylc vr` command in the GUI is something I’m currently working on:

Until then, you’ll need to continue to use the CLI or Tui.

That’s a super news, thanks a lot Oliver!
Until then I’ll use the Tui then.

By any chance are you also going to implement the `cylc install` command? (I have seen it is mentioned in the issue …)

Best,
Stella

Install will come one day, but we will have to make workflow source directories visible to the GUI first.
