Heads up, if you’re using Cylc with Jupyter Hub, the upcoming Cylc 8.3.0 will require Jupyter Hub version 4.0.0 or above.

As follow up to this announcement:

We currently support Jupyter Hub versions 1 - 3 with cylc-uiserver 1.3, and Jupyter Hub 4+ with cylc-uiserver 1.4.

Jupyter Hub version 4 (and the related Jupyter Server version 2) represent a major improvement that makes multi-user Cylc setups much nicer (users can now spawn each others servers) and provide finer grained and more extensive authorisation interfaces.

Information on configuring up multi-user setups where users can spawn and access each other’s servers: [Authorizing Others to Access Your Workflows — Cylc 8.2.4 documentation](https://cylc.github.io/cylc-doc/stable/html/user-guide/sharing-access-to-workflows.html)
