# Tip: New "interventions" section in the documentation

There is now an “[interventions section](https://cylc.github.io/cylc-doc/stable/html/user-guide/interventions/index.html)” in the documentation. This shows you how to perform common actions like re-running a task using the Cylc 8 GUI, Tui and command line.

This screen recording is an example from this new page. It shows how you can edit a task’s configuration and re-run it without reinstalling the workflow using the new “edit runtime” functionality. For Cylc 7 users, this is replacement for “trigger edit”:
