When I try to run a workflow using Cylc 8.2.4., I get an error on the first job “fcm_make_um” as follows
‘[FAIL] fcm_make_um (key=fcm_make_um): task has no associated application.’
The same workflow has been fine in the past under the exact same configuration, so I am at a loss for what might be causing this. My local support people haven’t been able to resolve the issue so thought I’d ask here.
NOTE: Currently the project is moving pretty fast, and 8.2.4 (released January) seems rather dated.
I’d expect this error to indicate the removal of
~/cylc-source/workflow/app/fcm_make_um
Can you double check that is still there?
The folder is still there, i.e. ‘u-df864/app/fcm_make_um’ where u-df864 is the name of my workflow. I have reinstalled my workflow, and it seems to be working now. Thanks for the help.
