Persistent web UI visualisation for each active workflow?

hi there,

is there a way to make the graph, log views etc persistent in the web ui? every time i move away from each run’s view (to another run for example) when i return all my viewer setting that i’d set up previously have gone. ideally it would nice to be able to set up some kind of default view (e.g. graph and list) like was possible in cylc 7.

any ideas appreciated :slight_smile:

Hi @jonnyhtw

That’s not possible yet, but it’s coming in a future release.

For now, you can just choose a single default view (tree, table, or graph) to open when you first click on a workflow, in the preferences page.

hmm @hilary.j.oliver these are the only options i have at the moment and it says that they’re read-only?

Check if you’re using Cylc UI 2.0

oh right no i’m using Cylc UI 1.6.0, do i need to use a newer cylc version?..

Oops my bad, actually waiting on 8.2.1 before installing 8.2 (with UI 2.0) at NIWA, due to a newly surfaced UI bug. Sorry about that!
