A bug has been identified in the cylc-7.8.2 release: attempting to start a suite from GUI will cause the GUI to freeze and the suite will not be launched.

The fix will be released shortly in cylc-7.8.3

Sorry, but a user has identified more issues launching commands from the GUI. We have now raised a pull request to fix. 7.8.3 should follow shortly.
