Rose-2019.01.2 is the perfect companion of Cylc-7.8.3 (see Cylc-7.8.3 announcement).

This is a minor release with these changes:

  • Rose commands will now allow mojibake to pass through in diagnostic messages.

  • rose suite-run: a new suite variable dict ROSE_SUITE_VARIABLES is now available for templating insertion.

  • rose app-run, rose task-run, rose suite-run: allow use of --define=... on top level special settings such as opts and import in configuration.
